NICER THAN I EXPECTED

Cowboy Joe's Antiques went beyond making sure my experience with them was top notch. Called me to say Liveauctioneer was charging me way too much to ship my 1 small item. I was profoundly appreciative. Plus I was leaving the country for 9 days and they said they would hold the item until I returned. I'm following them, with this great service, company that went beyond I definitely will bid with them aga.

I just received the three Native American Baskets purchased in Cowboy Joe's last auction and when the package arrived this morning and opened it I will confess to some confusion; the way the items were packaged and shipped made me think, "What ho, this must be the Mona Lisa and the Fabrage Egg I purchased from Southeby's," but it was my three vintage baskets looking even better than the images posted by Joe and Noelle. There was an issue with the shipping as this was during the brief period when Live Auctioneers was offering their own shipping services, but I preferred to have the seller handle it instead. This created a bit of confusion with the Live Auctioneer website, but after speaking with Joe (something I heartily recommend as he is a pleasure to converse with) and a message exchange with Noelle, it was all handled expeditiously. I gave them 5 ***** because that was the limit placed by Live Auctioneers, after 30 years as a Service Consultant for Mercedes and therefore conversant with the notion of customer service, these two are much more deserving than that. Bid and buy with confidence, I look forward to their next auction, and have been invited to stop in and see them the next time I'm in the southern part of New Mexico. I've invited them to get in touch if ever they are up our way.

AN ERROR IN SHIPPING COST WAS MADE THIS PAST AUCTION. I NEVER WOULD HAVE NOTICED BEING I AM FLOODED WITH INVOICES AND SHIPPING INVOICES NEARLY EVERY DAY. COUNTRY JOE HIMSELF, REACHED OUT, INFORMED ME OF THE ERROR AND REFUNDED THE UNUSED AMT. THERE'S HONEST FOR YA.
