Fab auction house, extremely helpful, they went above and beyond! Superb!

Loved dealing with South Jersey Auctions, they totally went above and beyond to help me. Lisa texted extra pictures and saved us from a shipping snafu. I love the Turkmen tent trappings and will be buying from them again in the future. Such adorable real people at this auction house!

An Enjoyable Experience Once Again

This was my second time participating in an auction held by South Jersey Auction. I've received these four chairs, and they're quite nice. Dealing with Lisa is always a pleasure, and I've enjoyed our phone conversations. The video that she makes before each auction is helpful as it allows you to see the furniture from different angles. This was an enjoyable experience once again, and I look forward to their future auctions!

Good Communication Is the Key to a Positive Buying Experience

This was my first time participating in an auction at South Jersey. I'm a big fan of Henkel Harris furniture, so I was delighted to have found this king-size mahogany bed by this manufacturer of fine furniture. The only disappointment was discovering a bit of white paint on the back of the headboard and one of the posts, which wasn't apparent in the pictures in the listing or in the picture that I received when I inquired about the condition. I contacted the auction house in writing after taking possession of the bed to address this issue and got a call from Lisa, who runs this business with her husband, Rob. It was a very enjoyable conversation, one that gave me insight into how their auctions work. She was eager to help me resolve this issue and offered a suggestion for removing the white paint. As I discovered on my own, using a fine gauge of steel wool is the best way to remove paint from wood provided that you use light pressure. For anyone reading this review, I would encourage you to be proactive when gathering information about any item that interests you well in advance of the auction date. If your written questions aren't answered to your satisfaction, give Lisa a call and ask her directly. Lisa and Rob care about their customers and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Just remember to do your part by communicating effectively. I love the selection of good-quality furniture at South Jersey and look forward to participating in their future auctions!
