This was the third auction in which I purchased an item. I find them very reliable, friendly, and helpful, and I enjoy doing business with them.

This auction house provided the best experience. The five star treatment began with my questions being answered honestly, accurately. They went out of their way pre and POST auction to make me feel assured my purchase was authentic & as described. They even wrote a post sale thank you note to make sure I was satisfied. I can’t recommend them enough. Having been burnt from a few unscrupulous auction houses, I can assure you these ppl reaffirmed my faith in Live Auctioneers. Yes, buyer beware but not with J. Very nice item, pleasantly surprised at condition. Pictures didn't do it justice. Drove to auction site to pick up dresser. Quick to help loading in truck. Chatted with owners and was on my way. Easy peasy transaction. Will be watching for more cool items. Bonus was visiting the locations in town from the movie My Cousin Vinny. Stood at the courthouse right where Marissa stood! Too cool!

I found an interesting item at a fair price. Unfortunately, this auction house isn't really set up for reasonably priced shipping, nor have they established relationships with local shippers as so many other liveauctioneers sellers have. The realistic options are local pickup or on your own. They charged me $55 to ship an item weighing few oz. by USPS.

A 100 year old glass shade survived in perfect condition only to be damaged by the amateur packing of the auction house. Furthermore, after paying for shipping insurance the auction house wouldn't pay the insurance claim. I was told to go have the shade repaired somewhere at my own expense. Buyers beware!

Every aspect of this transaction was perfect. The quality of items exceeded my expectations even with the high quality images in the auction. All items were extremely well packaged by shipping personnel. Certainly the gold standard for a auction house business profile.
