Disappointed that a pre-auction request for an additional picture was not received. Internal shipping services were fantastic and half the cost of Live Auctioneers quote. I would bid again with Charleston Estate Services.

I have been doing Charleston Estate Services sales for a few years now. They are a wonderful group to work with and I look forward to each estate sale they have and can hardly wait for the next one. The on-line bidding fascinates me and I have been in a few bidding wars. I have never been disappointed in the items I have won.

We have purchased items during three auctions from Charleston Estate Services-every purchase has been fantastic. Items are described perfectly. Registering for the auction is simple, the auction house notifies you when your wishlist items are coming up and it is so easy to pay. They also notify us quickly on how and when to pickup. Recently we needed to wait a bit to pickup our items due to the weather and they accommodated us with no problem. Staff is excellent! Look forward to the next auction! Thank you

Great auction company with some unique items. For shipping I used the UPS store6247 on Daniel Island. Todd has picked up, packed & shipped a number of won auction items for me at a fair price. Highly recommend them if buying out of state.

Since I live in Charleston, I opted to pick up my bowls. Due to recovery from surgery, I was unable to do so for a while after the ending of the auction. The folks here were so helpful about my situation.

Charleston Estate Services is fantastic. Pleasant, responsive and honest as the day is long. They have nothing to do with the similarly named "Charleston Estate Auctions."

Excellent service and descriptions as always

Very pleased with the quality of the pieces I purchased. The items were well packed by a third party shipper. The only issue I have is the cost of shipping which I do not blame the shipper for. After all they have a business to run. Unless a firm has a good in-house shipping arrangement, that basically ships at cost, buyers really need to better calculate or be very aware of rising shipping costs prior to the sale. Additionally, when paying through Live Auctioneers, they add additional credit card fees although many galleries have increased their buyer's premium to cover for credit card fees. Ultimately the increased 'little' charges will hurt prices realied for consignors as buyers take better account of total costs.

As a first time bidder, the whole experience was positive. I elected to pick up my item and the company was very accommodating of holding my item longer that expected. Very friendly interactions both by phone and in person.

Very satisfied with my purchase, and picking up was very easy. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

They do not ship, which is odd for a company that uses an internet based system to sell items and they do not communicate well.
