I’m extremely upset with the way this auction house lists its items. Firstly they have each item listed as if it is a Van Cleef piece by listing the van cleef style. What’s even more deceptive is that they write in the actual name of the style and claim it is the “style” so it really isn’t reading as a counterfeit item which it really is. When I asked them to cancel my order and I had made a mistake because of their misleading information they threatened me with using their terms and conditions against me and not helping me. They even said that they were sorry I was disappointed!! They know what they are doing and know that it is “disappointing” so why would they try to threaten people with baiting them in and then making them pay thousands. On top of it their title tries to make it seem there is a “sale” of the van cleef piece. I’ve seen van cleef wannabes and when some sellers do that they don’t claim to be the exact style of van cleef they will use words like clover or whatever. But this auction house wants to screw customers over and then threaten them when they get fooled into their trap. Liveauctioneers shouldn’t allow this type of behavior or sellers on its platform. Makes it all really shady.
