We handle most shipping in-house, and will connect directly with the purchaser to arrange for shipping. There will be a $10 handling fee added to the item on top of the actual shipping costs. This will account for all boxes and materials used in order to properly ship the item, and to make sure that it arrives as desired. For large, fragile, and complex items we can recommend professional shippers that the purchaser will be responsible for communicating with to insure that the item is packed and shipped properly. These items shipped by 3rd parties will not be the responsibility of Borssen Antiques or the consignor once the item is delivered to the 3rd party shipper. All items are subject to a 22% buyers premium which will be added to the successful bid price and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price. On-site bidders will be subject to a 20% buyers premium. Some of the lots in this sale are offered subject to a reserve. This reserve is a confidential minimum price agreed upon by the consignor & Borssen Antiques & Fine Art, LLC below which the lot will not be sold. In any event when a lot is subject to a reserve, the auctioneer may reject any bid not adequate to the value of the lot.
