Mr. William B. Dunnaway recently sold the historic “1848 House”
in Marietta, Georgia, and has commissioned our gallery to sell the
collection of antiques, works of art and collectibles from the house.
During the Civil War the “1848 House” served as a union
hospital and was frequented by General Sherman, who was an acquaintance
of William King the owner of the “1848 House. This collection includes American, English and French furniture, paintings,
mirrors, oriental rugs, silver, china, porcelains, collectibles and
works of art. In addition, we will sell a collection from a private estate in Nashville, Tennessee, a group
of furniture from a prominent home in Birmingham, Alabama, an exquisite
collection of jewelry and a large group of oriental rugs!
