2nd Weekend of the Month Auction always having Native American Pottery, Kachinas, Jewelry, Books, Folk Art, Painings, Textiles & Rugs from Arizona,New Mexico & Colorado. We will be continuing with the James Robert Hummert Estate for the next three months. Items will be designated as Estate Items, so you will know that you will be bidding on Mr. Hummert's choice items. James Hummert served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany and when on leave traveled extensively throughout Europe. James enjoyed a career in acting in NYC on both Broadway and TV. James returned to college and achieved a PhD in Anthropology, fostering a great interest in collecting artifacts, during travel for both work and pleasure. James was a professor on a trip around the world with a semester at Sea, and artifacts in his collections were acquired in the country of origin. Pleasure travel took him to Africa, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Peru and the Galapagos Islands, the Amazon, France, Mexico & many U.S, locations, including Alaska.
