Neither the seller, ourselves, our officers, employees or agents, give any representation, warranty or guarantee or assume any liability of any kind in respect of any lot with regard to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, description, size, quality, condition, attribution, authenticity, rarity, importance, medium, provenance, exhibition history, literature or historical relevance. Except as required by local law any warranty of any kind whatsoever is excluded by this paragraph. The auctioneer has the sole right to settle disputed bids and decide whether or not to re-offer the lot. The record of sale kept by the auction house will be taken as final in the event of any dispute. The purchaser assumes complete responsibility for items at the fall of the auctioneer's hammer. Obtaining a pre-auction shipping estimate is recommended to potential bidders prior to sale date. Items may be withdrawn at any time prior to the offering of each lot for a fee of 40% of the median of the catalogued estimate. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject an opening bid that, in his or her opinion, is not commensurate with the value of the lot. Before the sale takes place the auction house requires a valid Visa or MasterCard on file in the bidder's name to complete registration for each auction. Payment must be made at the end of the sale unless prior arrangements have been made. The auction house accepts cash. Personal checks may be accepted if credit has been established with us prior to sale date. We also accept Visa or MasterCard. Combination payments methods can be accepted within our choices of payement .The auction house reserves the right for Credit card transactions to be accepted for international clients. All purchases must be paid in full on the day of the auction; items must be picked up within 5 (five) business days after the day of the auction. If property is paid for but not removed within 5 (five) business days after the auction, it may be sent to a storage facility, the cost of which is assumed solely by the purchaser. The auction house reserves the right to decide how property may be disposed after 5 (five) business days.
