Auctioneers is proud to announce our September Antiques, Fine Art, Fire The auction will open with 60 lots of American and European fine art highlighted by a southern genre oil on board painting of a female sharecropper by William Aiken Walker (1838-1921). Other fine art highlights include an illuminated Surrealist oil on canvas landscape painting by Karnig Nalbandian (1916-1989) and an Impressionist oil on canvas winter landscape painting by John Haapanen (1891-1968). The second portion of the catalog will offer over forty firearms highlighted by a C.1915 Westley Richards single trigger double barrel shotgun. The third portion of the catalog will offer over 250 lots of antiques and decorative arts. Decorative art highlights include a Salem, Massachusetts Federal card table attributed to Samuel McIntire, a set of twelve Mintons for Tiffany & Co. porcelain duck plates, and a large French Art Nouveau Cognac Jacquet advertising poster by Camille Bouchet. Within the decorative arts section there will be 25 lots of antique and collectible fire fighter memorabilia and over 25 lots of antique Oriental and Persian carpets.The final portion of the catalog will offer over 190 lots of Asian Arts and Antiques highlighted by a Chinese Ming Dynasty Junyao purple splashed bowl. Other Asian highlights include an 18th century Indian gilt bronze copper alloy statue of Vishnu, a pair of 19th century glass eye pewter deer, and a fine Chinese Kangxi period baluster form vase. Within the Asian arts section there will be over 25 lots of snuff bottles and a fine selection of carved jade, jadeite, and hardstone.
