Toy, Comic and Collectible Auction

Bruneau & Co. Auctioneers and Travis Landry are proud to announce their Fall Toy, Comic, and Comic Art auction featuring over 300 lots of Pop Culture curated from collections across the country. The auction will open with over fifty lots of vintage toys including Hasbro G.I. Joe, Mattel He-Man Masters of the Universe, Bandai Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Kenner Star Wars. Vintage toy highlights include a French 1978 Meccano Star Wars 20 Back Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi AFA 85, Argentinean 1983 Top Toys Star Wars Return of the Jedi Stormtrooper AFA 80, and a rare MOSC Mexican 1984 He-Man MOTU Leech with bright red crossbow. Within the vintage toy section will be a collection of unused and AFA graded Mighty Morphin Power Rangers highlighted by a 1992 Bandai Megazord and Dragonzord gift set and a collection of 1964 to 1969 Hasbro G.I. Joes from the collection of a previous Hasbro employee. G.I. Joe highlights include an individually carded 1964 Action Pilot dress uniform, 1967 Action Marine Rifle-Rack, and factory sealed Action Joe State Trooper and Race Car Driver uniforms. The second portion of the catalog will feature over 240 lots of Silver, Bronze, Copper, and Modern age D.C. and Marvel comics and original artwork. Comic highlights include an Amazing Fantasy No.15 CBCS 2.5, Avengers No.1 CBCS 5.0, X-Men No.1 CBCS 4.0, Incredible Hulk No.181 CBCS 7.0, Fantastic Four No.52 CBCS 6.5, and an Amazing Spider-Man No.14 CBCS 3.5 amongst 150 and more graded comics. Titles included are Action Comics, Adventure Comics, Aquaman, Batman, Captain America, Fantastic Four, Journey into Mystery, Justice League, Tales to Astonish, Tales of Suspensem, X-Force, X-Factor, New Mutants, and more. Original artwork includes works by Frank Miller, Neal Adams, Craig Rousseau, Norman Lee, and more. The auction will take place Saturday, October 28th at noon at our gallery located at 63 Fourth Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, 02910.
