Winter Auction Weekend - Day 3

Day 3 of our three day sale, lots 1301- 1774, focus on 20th Century decorative arts, and features a large estate jewelry collection and many fine time pieces, including E. Howard, Tiffany & Co., and Continental-crafted examples. A late 19th Century Viennese enameled gilded silver and engraved rock crystal compote will be offered, along with a 5-piece sterling silver tea & coffee set by Georg Jensen, 2 Louis Vuitton trunks, and a framed 19th Century KPM plaque depicting Mary Magdalene. On this day, the July-August 1943 page from the WWII engagement diary of Winston Churchill will be sold, along with many other rare documents and photos. Artwork will include pieces by Walt Kuhn, Stephen Etnier, Carl Kauba, Edward Henry Potthast, Marcel Bouraine, Christophe Fratin, and others. Furniture will include a Wooten desk, 8 lots of Stickley furniture, plus pieces by Roycroft and Thomas Moser. Finally, this day will offer early advertising, fine porcelain and art glass pieces.
