Auction of museum quality fossil specimens and Naval Binoculars Optical Instruments - Naturally occurring geological formations and fossils are presented alongside prized minerals and meteorites. Some have been cut and polished to reveal their inner beauty; all are highly sculptural and decorative and sit comfortably in any interior setting. The fossilized remains of extinct animals ? some lived as far back as 500 million years ago, others alongside the Dinosaurs ? are a natural fit in a cabinet of curiosity. Highlights include ,rare ammonites from Western Canada and picture-like fossils preserved in limestone from the Green River Quarry Formations in Wyoming (USA). Also included are meteroirte Skulls by Artist and Sculptor Lee Downey made from the Gibeon meteorite that blasted Namibia, Africa about 1,000 years ago, unique and dated to 4-billion years.
