On offer is an eclectic selection that embodies the art of collecting, from the Ancient to the Modern and Contemporary. Highlights include a monumental sculpture by 20th century American artist, Frederick Elliot Hart; paintings by French Impressionist, Édouard Cortés, and noted Texas artists, Porfirio Salinas and Gerald Harvey; an early 19th century presentational wine cooler by acclaimed English silversmith, Benjamin Smith II; and a selection of French, Old World wines from a private cellar.
Exclusively offered by Simpson Galleries in this auction are lifetime acquisitions of German and French porcelains from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Wagner, Kansas City, Missouri.
