Terms & Conditions 1. For buyers using the online bidding service, a buyer¿s premium of 17.5% shall be added to each purchase to reach the total sales price. 2. The total sales price is subject to applicable sales tax. ON residents will pay 15% unless a tax exempt form is on file. 3. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, interac, Visa, Mastercard. No personal checks will be accepted. 4. Complete payment is required day of auction or upon receipt of notification of a successful bid. 5. Paid items may be removed from the auction center. Please note that online purchasers who wish to pick up their items shall not do so until the Monday following the day of auction. After two (2) weeks, any items remaining at the auction center will be placed in storage. Fee for storage will be $10 per week per item. 6. Please advise us immediately if you would like another shipper pack and ship your items. Should you choose to have Gordon¿s ship your item(s) directly, please be advised that (a) all such packaging, handling and shipping is at the sole risk of the purchaser and that Gordon¿s shall have no liability for any loss or damage to such items, and (b) purchaser shall pay in advance, all packaging expenses, including labor, materials and postage and carrier fees, and all insurance charges. Gordons primarily ships via CPS and Purolator/Air Bourne Express. Please be aware the delivery time for purchases shipped by Gordons is approximately two to three weeks 7. Shipping of any and all furniture is the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. Gordon’s will not be accountable for shipping of any furniture, should the winning bidder need shipping it is up to them to find someone to ship the item. Winning bidders will be held accountable for payment. 8. Due to uncertainties of bidding, a lot may sell to the audience for the same amount as an internet bidder. The auctioneers decision shall be binding and final. 9. The record of sale, kept by the auctioneer and clerk, will be taken as absolute and final in all disputes. 10. Gordon¿s will not be held responsible for error or failure to execute bid(s). Absentee bids must be in writing and a fifty dollar minimum bid is required per item. Phone bidding is an available service and must be arranged in advance with our staff. 11. All auction inquiries must be received 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. The deadline for email inquiries is October 13, 2004 at 1 pm EST. 12. Purchasers may inspect the merchandise and are urged to do so. The Auctioneer makes no warranty as to condition and shall not be responsible for any defects in any Lot. All goods are exposed for Public Exhibition and, for Internet buyers condition is described below. All goods are sold ¿AS IS¿ and ¿WITHOUT RECOURSE¿.
