2018 Fall Auction Weekend - Day 4

Day 4 of our four-day Fall Auction Weekend, Nov 8-11, , features 19th & 20th Century decorative arts, featuring artwork by Jean Dufy, J.C. Orozco, Andrew Wyeth, Diego Rivera, Roberto Ferri, Doris Emrick Lee, Ernest Fiene, and Waldo Peirce. A ladies 2.8ct natural Kashmir sapphire and diamond ring and an antique sweater clip set with 6cts of diamonds will lead the fine jewelry collection. Seven automobiles will be sold on this day, including a 1990 Lotus Esprit and 1967 Rolls Royce. An important Japanese Meiji Period bronze sculpture depicting a fisherman will be presented, along with 40 other fine Japanese items. Three Georg Jensen lots ? two sets of flatware and a centerpiece bowl will be featured from the silver collection; and the porcelain and glass group will offer a framed KPM plaque, Meissen figures and Lalique pieces. Featured furniture will include a country dining table from the Jason Robards estate, an English Aesthetic period inlaid ladies desk, and a 2-piece ?Power Play? chair and ottoman set designed by Architect Frank Gehry.
