Our auction consists of original ancient jewellery as well as amulets and scarabs made of semi-precious stones. When one hears the term "ancient jewellery" it is understandable that many automatically associate it with astronomically high prices, but that's not the case with the objects on offer in our upcoming online auction. They are original pieces and by far more affordable than most modern signed jewellery with famous names. One of the most interesting things about working with ancient jewellery is the knowledge that the object you're holding has been owned by different people over the past 2000-plus years. For the majority of objects we know only the most recent provenance history, but have no clue to the original owners 2000 years ago.
