Your bid on any item indicates your acceptance of the terms listed below and all other terms announced at the time of sale whether bidding in person, through a representative, by phone, internet or other absentee bid. 1. All sales are final. There are no cancellations, returns or refunds. 2. All items are sold "AS-IS" with no warranty or guarantee of any kind. We endeavor to give accurate descriptions regarding the items we sell. However, the descriptions we give are our opinions based on experience, and should not be interpreted as facts or guarantees as to the age, authenticity, condition or material of any item we offer. Potential bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the items in person prior to the auction. In any case, potential buyers must make their own determination about authenticity, condition, and fitness of the item. 3. All purchases (including the buyer's premium) are subject to California state sales tax of 7.75%. If you are a dealer with a valid resale permit, the resale number must be registered with us prior to the auction to avoid paying sales tax. If you are an out of state buyer and the item is being shipped out of state, we will not charge you sales tax. 4. An 18% buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price of each item or lot that is sold. 5. All items are sold to the highest bidder as acknowledged by the auctioneer. The auctioneer has the right to reject any bid. The auctioneer is the arbiter of any disputed bid. He may reopen bidding at his discretion and reject bids at his discretion. Any disputes regarding bidding will be resolved by the auctioneer. Once the auctioneer determines the successful bidder, his decision is final. 5. Any items requiring shipping will be delivered by us to UPS store number 0007, located at 302 Washington St, San Diego, CA 92103. We will charge $10 per item up to 20 pounds for delivery to UPS. Items over 20 pounds are $20 per item. Smaller items (Glassware, clocks, bronzes, artwork, etc?) will be shipped within 10 business days of cleared payment. We can deliver large furniture items to a local shipping company of your choosing. Our fees for those large item deliveries will be determined on a case by case basis, and billed separately, but the fees will be reasonable. Our only goal with our delivery fees is to cover labor and fuel costs. Buyers are welcome to make their own shipping arrangements, and arrange pickup of the items at our location at no additional charge. In all cases, the buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and shipping costs. Mission Hills Auction is not responsible for damage that may occur during packing and shipping. Once an item leaves our premises, we are not responsible for it in any way. 6. All items must be paid for in full before they leave the premises. All forms of payment must be completely clear before items are removed. 7. All items must be paid for in full within 5 calendar days after the auction. We accept cash from attendees at the live auction. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Paypal and cashier's checks from all buyers. Cashier's checks must clear the bank before items are removed from the premises. We can accept credit card payments by phone, or you can pay through LiveAuctioneers.
