JFL Auction: Tribal PT - no hidden reserves

JFL brings you a selection of tribal lots. No hidden reserve prices, no buyers premium. Many pieces come from the collection of Brussels based painter P.T. As a contemporary artist who has collected African tribal art for over a decade, P.T. incorporated his collection in his working space, enabling him to spend more time with the objects. According to P.T. all of the things that surround us end up permeating other aspects of our lives - in his case his work. The contrasts between the primitive lines of Chamba, Loso, Yaka, Songye, Lega sculptures and his practice of Zen, Shiatsu and Aikido create for him the empty transformation space for his Pure Intuitive work. When a lot stems from the P.T. collection, it is clearly indicated in the lot description. Some other items come from the collection of count Simon du Castel de la Howardie (1926-2014). Please note: unless stated otherwise, bases are generally not included in the sale.
