The Saturday auction is pleased to present an outstanding collection of fine and decorative art and furnishings from a prominent Oakland County, Michigan collector. Featured is a limited edition polished chrome sculpture ?The Falling Man? by Ernest Tino Trova; impressive bronze sculptures by Nina Kaiser ?Headliner? and Bobbie Carlyle ?Self Made Man? and a lovely porcelain dinner service by Hermès in the ?Chaine D?Ancre? pattern, 101 pieces. Other highlights include exquisite glass by Daum, Lalique, St. Louis, Waterford, Baccarat and a striking glass sculpture by Jon Kuhn entitled ?Liquid Crystal?. Silver offerings in the collection include elegant flatware sets and tableware by Christofle, Georg Jensen, Alain Saint-Joanis and a rare Argentinian silver & leather tea and coffee service set by Plata Lappas. Of special interest is the whimsical collection of walking sticks in a variety of mediums and designs, over 15 lots. Fine jewelry highlights feature a pair of 5.50ct natural sapphire and 0.76ct diamond cluster floretta stud earrings in a 14kt white gold setting; a lapis and carnelian link necklace in a 14kt gold setting and a 1.70ct (I, SI-1) & .77ct (I, SI-2) diamond ring in a 14kt gold setting.
