Prehistoric and Historic Artifact Auction

This sale contains one of the finest selections of Mississippian and Caddo pottery to be offered in years. A rare Mississippian Headpot will headline the pottery offering. Caddo Pottery masterpieces (many pictured in Art of the Ancient Caddo) from the Kevin Farmer and Jack Bonds collections will be sold. Rounding out this offering is a "Sleeping Goose" bowl (Dale Roberts') and a rare Caddo Rabbit Rim Effigy Bowl (Dr. Kent Westbrook). It is pleasure to present another fine selection of artifacts from the Dale and Betty Roberts Collection. A variety of fine artifacts (Bannerstones, Flint Spuds and Hoes, Pipes and more) are being offered from the collection. Many are pictured in various, old publications. A large selection of flint artifacts from the Randy Hudson Collections are contained in this sale. Acquired by Tom Davis, this offering includes a number of very fine Paleo points and Dovetails. Almost all of the Hudson collection pieces have COAs from highly respected authenticators. Spring cleaning has come early this year. We're cleaning the shelves of pieces from previously sold collections. Some were left over, some not paid, some just fell through the cracks.
