Prehistoric and Historic Artifact Auction

We are very pleased to offer the Don Kinkade Collection. During the past few decades, Don has amassed a very fine collection of artifacts. All of Don's fine Flint will be sold -Dovetails, Lost Lakes, Decaturs and more. Almost all of Don's pieces were authenticated by Tom Davis or Dwain Rogers. Many are pictured in various publications. No mention of the Kinkade Collection would be complete without that of the Rochester Razor - one of the finest Dovetails ever found. Years ago, Don traded a bass boat to the finder of this extraordinary Dovetail. A top shelf Cumberland (one of Don's favorite pieces) is also being sold. Other flint includes a Folsom from the Dwain Rogers Collection and a fine Flintridge Dovetail that Stan Copeland sold a friend of mine over 50 years ago. Also being offered in this auction is a fine selection of Caddo and Mississippian Pottery from the Kevin Farmer and Jack Bonds Collections. Many are pictured in Art of the Ancient Caddo. There are many fine hardstone and slate relics in this sale as well. A Quartz Pick Bannerstone pictured in Knoblock, a polished Celt from Knoblock's collection (pictured 1954), a Greenstone Spatulate once in the Dan Stroud Collection, Bob Jenkins' Discoidals and several Axes from the old Ensil Chadwick Collection round out what will be a well rounded offering of very fine artifacts. This will be one of the finest sales of the year. Don't miss this opportunity to add several fine relics to your collection.
