Prints, Multiples and WPA Era Art

Another pleasingly diverse auction sale with over 400 lots to include etchings, engravings, lithographs, serigraphs, woodblock prints, original works on paper and more. Some of the earliest prints date circa 1702 with groups of Abraham Munting engravings although there are earlier, undated engravings in this sale as well. Most of the auction is represented with American Art 1900-1950 including works by Gertrude Fiske, Fritz Eichenberg, Rockwell Kent, Irving Amen, Ira Moskowitz, C.W. Anderson, Russell Limbach, George Grosz, Everett Shinn and many, many more. Highlights include an original charcoal drawing by Everett Shinn and an original pen and ink drawing attributed to George Grosz.
