Among the group of Buddhist sculptures and works of art is an extremely rare EMBROIDERED THANGKA, YONGLE, from an important German collection acquired in China between 1910 and 1930 (lot 190), A VERY LARGE MING WOOD AND GESSO STATUE OF MAUDGALYAYANA, BUDDHA’S FOREMOST DISCIPLE, (lot 234) and a LARGE VAJRASANA FIRE-GILT BRONZE BUDDHA, TIBET 15TH CENTURY, from the Presencer collection.
