Celebrating private collections of historic instruments of science and industrial achievement. On Thursday, May 23, 2019, Whitley?s Auctioneers of Dania Beach, FL presents an auction that celebrates historic Instruments of Science, Technology and Transportation, including gadgets and devices both unusual and familiar. This auction highlights examples of industrial and scientific achievement, including aeronautical artifacts, cameras, antique and vintage telephones, automobiles, fossils, militaria and antique weapons, many created a century and more ago. Central to the auction are private collections of 200 antique and vintage camera, more than 100 antique and vintage telephones, including rare models from the Age of Bell and Marconi, Ericsson,and Stromberg-Carlson. Exciting highlights include a classic 1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III, a solar car and an air compression car. Several Boeing aviation artifacts, and an original Pathe Silent Film Projector from 1910 are also offered. In addition, beautifully arranged specimens created by the NY Times Best Selling author and artist, Christopher Marley, are for sale.
