Oakridge Auction Gallery is pleased to present our June ?East Meets West? auction, a two-day sale which highlights the fantastic material results of Asian-European-American cultural and artistic exchange across several centuries. June East Meets West Session 2, hosted in our gallery space as well as on our online platforms, expands on the theme of our first day of East Meets West with over 400 Lots of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese export porcelain wares; Middle Eastern and Chinese textiles, including several antique rugs; and several impressive antique Korean and Japanese furnishings. We also introducing fine American glassware; collectible books in finely tooled bindings; Spanish Lladro porcelains; and a selection of vintage toy collectibles including a midget car by Jan Glimer, with an original Kamikaze engine and a tin DC transit bus by the now-defunct Asahi Toy Company.
