Laughlin of Princeton, New Jersey, and author of "Pewter in America"; 18th.c. American cherry secretary desk; 18th.c wing back chair originally purchased from Israel Sack; pewter collection including a tankard by John Bassett which was included in the Bicentennial Exhibition of American Art 1750 - 1800 shown at the Yale University Art Gallery and Victoria and Albert Museum. Numerous pewter lots were originally purchased by Dr and Mrs. Harvey Muehlenbeck from T D and C R Williams of Lithfield, Conn. and had been in the collection of Ledlie Laughlin.
