Rockport Center for the Arts Summer Art Auction 2020 Live and Online - NO RESERVES! Thursday July 2, 2020 at 7:00PM A Salute to the Arts in South Texas The Summer Art Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds benefit a dynamic schedule of solo and group exhibitions, an artist in residence program, a visiting lecturer series, traveling exhibits, an art education program that provides outreach to over 500 students in Aransas County, Texas provided low cost or free of charge. The Auction also supports the preservation of a growing Permanent Collection of sculptural works that reside in the Sculpture Garden next to Rockport Harbor and the promotion of artists' livelihoods and careers associated with the not-for-profit organization. Your support of this Auction helps to contribute to the success and continuation of the Rockport Center for the Arts and its presence as a significant cultural resource in the region. With a robust 51 year history that celebrates a coastal aesthetic that is uniquely Rockport, the Rockport Center for the Arts is the epicenter of a creative enclave that has made this area one of the most celebrated art colonies in the United States.
