Cowan's summer auction of Fine Art + Design features a selection of exceptional items including paintings, prints, photographs and sculpture, as well as furniture and studio ceramics and glass. Highlights include Lampe Femme, an earthenware vase by Pablo Picasso (lot 120), Red and Green Building, a mixed-media sculpture by William Christenberry (lot 54), ceramics by Jennifer Lee (lot 106) and John Ward (lot 107), and a rare Kem Weber sugar and creamer (lot 89). Also noteworthy are a collection of photographs by Mexican artists Gabriela Iturubide and Mariana Yampolsky, mid-century modern furniture by Eames and Florence Knoll and a fine selection of original works by noted artists such as George Chann, Robert Natkin and John Torreano.
