The liquidation of an antiquarian book dealer?s private collection continues with most items never listed before in any forum. Of special interest is a scarce California item. ?Redlands,? a nearly 100-year-old hardbound presentation of sepia-toned photos shows classic homes and other architectural treasures from this iconic community when it was still fairly young. An early edition of the sought-after 6-volume ?My Bookhouse for Children,? including the elusive Vol. 1, ?In The Nursery,? is one of many classic children?s books included in this offering. A fascinating 1941 Goodyear Aircraft booklet with full-color illustrations of World War Two war planes and a book of authentic color schemes from the American Arts & Crafts period are to be found in this auction. Thirty original Playboy magazines from 1954 to 1961 and numerous 1950s pinup and figure photographic magazines, plus a personal phonebook of a 1930s/1940s American boxing promoter illustrate the esoteric nature of this special sale. Finally, scarce and early books on law round out a truly eclectic sale. Enjoy.
