Champion Hong Kong Auction 8

Champion Galleries is a division of the iAsure Group. We have offices in New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Tokyo. Champion's President Michael Chou started his adventure in the exciting world of coin auctions in 1994 accepting mail bids posted in the Journal of East Asian Numismatics. Taking his next step in 1996, Mr. Chou decided to expand the business by hosting a series of stand-alone auctions. Technology grew with Mr. Chou's list of satisfied clients in the late 1990s. To tap into the burgeoning online auction market, Mr. Chou created iAsure in 1999. Only two years later, iAsure started a very successful relationship with the online auction powerhouse eBay. From 2001 to 2005 iAsure held a series of eBay co-brand online auctions in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and China. Expanding its online presence in 2006, iAsure teamed up with Beijing Chenxuan Auctions and eBay Eachnet to host the first eBay Live Auction in China. Champion Hong Kong Auction took control the auctions starting in 2007. While the Company has seen a series of successful auctions, April 2008 was particularly noteworthy with 131 of 156 Lots sold for a total of US $1,914,539.
