Gordon S. Converse & Co. Antique Auction

Gordon S. Converse & Co. was started in 1979 as a clock restoration business but grew into dealers in antiques business with a specialty in antique clocks. In 1908 Gordon Converse, in response to collectors yearning to both buy and sell antiques, held two auctions in his studios in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Sales from the Converse Co. have featured merchandise from his clients who were undergoing transition, and focused on antique and vintage objects of all kinds that were both fresh to the market and whose values were moderate. Understandably, because of Converse's background in clocks, many of the better offerings in the sales so far have been antique clocks.
