Palm Beach Antique to Modern Estate Auction

Neely Auction will be holding their first Palm Beach Antique to Modern Estate Auction of the year on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at 12pm. The sale will feature 209 lots of fine art, furnishings, art glass, sculpture, décor, lighting, jewelry and sterling silver. As always, some truly unique finds accompany more commonly sought after designs. Wall art ranges from early to modern. Earlier pieces by artists such as Lajos Ludwig Bruck and Nicholas Morosoff. Several works by prolific Op Artists include a pedestal mounted, painted optical sculpture from Victor Vasarely's 'Malom' series a framed, geometric holographic Agamograph by Yaacov Agam and kinetic op art by Jesus Rafael Soto. Other featured artists include Jim Dine, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Charles Levier, William Hawkins, Marc Chagall, and LeRoy Neiman. Abstract, kinetic, brutalist, and cubist and folk art sculptures are represented by artists such as Yaacov Agam, Jorge Rodriguez, Curtis Jere, and Wayne Pelham. Home furnishings, décor and lighting for every taste and style are in the catalog. Designers include Florence Knoll, Paul Evans, Marcel Bruer, Milo Baughman, Richard Sapper for Artimede, George Sonneman for George Kovacs, EA Lamp Company, Karl Springer, and Flos Lighting. Art glass, porcelain and ceramic makers include perfume bottles and figural sculptures by Lalique France and Vittorio Costantini, vases by Emile Galle and Phoenix Glass, cut crystal drinkware by Waterford and Val St. Lambert, and Murano glass by Alfredo Barbini and Archimede Seguso. There are several pieces of collectible porcelain, like a fish platter by Royal Copenhagen and a tureen and platter by Herend. Vintage fashion finds include a Judith Leiber miniaudiere rhinestone clutch purse, Gucci belt buckles and a mahogany-lined Gucci cigar box.
