Paintings, Prints, Photographs, Antiques

Our big October auction is headlined by Martin Lewis's print "Glow of the City," perhaps the artist's most sought after image. A painting attributed to Joan Miro, a still-life by Yasuo Kuniyoshi, and a Parisian view by Edouard Cortes lead the paintings section. Three dynamic photographs relating to the San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906 and some classic images from the Mexican Revolution bolster the photographs section. We again have an extensive selection of "danced" Mexican masks, as well as a variety of antiques with very reasonable pre-sale estimates.
