The auction features hundreds of lots of fine art, antiques, 20th century design, Asian art, fine estate jewelry, decorative arts & appointments, a Lexus ES330, and much more. This auction will also feature fine art and furnishings from the Claremont artist and collector Barbara Beretich. As stated in the Claremont Courrier, Barbara was "Considered by many to be the grande dame of Claremont's illustrious art and culture community, Ms. Beretich made a significant impact by helping foster not only the appreciation of art but contributing substantially to a regional art movement that some now refer to as the 'Claremont School.' She was a noted artist in her own right, creating an extensive body of work in multiple media, most notably sculpture." This auction, by order of the probate court, will be the first of several auctions featuring Ms. Beretich's collection.
