June Asian Art and Antiques: Session 1

Oakridge Auction Gallery is pleased to announce its June Asian Art & Antiques Auction of 2021. Featuring over 500 lots, our sale will be held in two sessions from June 12-13, 2021: Session 1 - Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art will begin at 10 am on Saturday, June 12th, and Session 2 - Buddhist Art and Porcelains from Private Collections will begin at 10 am on Sunday, June 13th. Session 1: Boasting over 300 lots, the Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art session is packed with amazing lots of Chinese art dating from the Spring & Autumn period through to the modern day. There are beautiful carvings in all shapes, sizes, and types of jade, and delicate porcelains that are rare and highly sought after. The highlight of the session is an exquisite Chinese blue and white porcelain vase depicting the Battle of Red Cliffs. Other lots in this session include a Chinese blue and white landscape planter with a hardwood stand, a pair of Mughal style jade marriage bowls dating to the Qianlong period, and a group of Chinese jade carvings on a turquoise boulder dating to the 18th century.
