Comic, TCG & Toy Auction

Bruneau & Co. Auctioneers is proud to present their Summer Comic, TCG, and Toy auction. The auction opens with 52 featured lots from the collection of Eric Baker, creative lead of props and set dressing for the Wizarding World of Harry Pottery at Universal Studios, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney World and Disney Land, and 1990's Nickelodeon prop master and fabricator. His collection includes screen used props from Nickelodeon classics including Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Allegra’s Window, and Clarissa Explains It All amongst others. The remainder of Eric’s collection relates to his time at Disney World and Universal Studios in addition to what he acquired as a collector in the market. The second portion of the catalog will include 321 lots of graded CGC and CBCS comic books in addition to group lots of Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Modern Age comics. Comic highlights include a Marvel Comics Avengers #1 (1963) CGC 8.0, Amazing Spider-Man #14 (1964) CGC 9.0, and X-Men #1 (1963) CGC 3.0. The entirety of the recently graded CGC Silver and Bronze age comics came from an original owner New Jersey collection we processed earlier this year, truly a great selection of books. Modern comic highlights include two copies of Marvel Comics Ultimate Fall Out #4 (2011) CGC 9.8. Other comic highlights include three copies of Marvel Comics Strange Tales #110 (1963) CGC 6.5, 4.5, and 3.5, Marvel Comics Avengers #4 (1964) CGC 8.0, Incredible Hulk #181 (1974) CGC 6.0, and Amazing Spider-Man #129 (1974) CGC 9.0. The final portion of the catalog includes 166 lots of Pokémon trading cards highlighted by three factory sealed booster boxes including Fossil 1st Edition, Jungle 1st Edition, and Gym Challenge 1st Edition boxes. Graded Pokémon highlights include a 1999 French 1st Edition Base Charizard BGS 9.5, German 1st Edition Base Charizard BGS 8.5, French 1st Edition Base Blastoise BGS 9, and a collection of CGC graded Staff Charizard cards.
