LANTANA, FL - Neely Auction will hold it's Summer Palm Beach Antique to Modern Estate Auction on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Bidding will open at Noon Eastern. A wide variety of art, furnishings, décor and more for both collectors and designers will be on the auction block.
Fine art spans the centuries, from Old Masters to Modern Impressionism. Artists include Jim Waid, William Haskell Coffin, Sidney Kendrick, Jules Cheret, Henry Martin Pope, Victor Vasarely, Barry Leighton Jones, Salvador Dali, Xavier Cugat, John Gould, and more. A variety of traditional paintings, both large and small, are well represented.
Sculptural works range from classical bronzes, alabaster busts, and Chinese root carvings to ornate art glass, kinetic sculptures, and post-modern pieces by Curtis Jere, Daum, David C. Roy, Jim Grant, Lalique, Guglielmo Pugi, Giovanni Bessi, and a pair of gargantuan garden urns, decorated with mermaids, dolphins and cherubs.
One of a kind finds include a Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Violin, circa 1724, unique lucite and Gucci bar items, and a stone inlaid desk globe.
