Gene Andrewski Collection of Cinema Part VI

The auction of The Gene Andrewski Collection of Cinema Part VI includes what has become the ongoing mix of movie posters, inserts, lobby cards, press books, exhibitors campaign books, photographs by the Hollywood celebrity photographers, ISP's and autographs. This auction begins to introduce original scripts for Hollywood and TV. To begin a preview of what will come in the Fall we are now introducing in this auction some lots from The Andrewski Library of rare first editions which were only made known to us recently. Although we had been given a first edition of Gone With the Wind and Hilton's Lost Horizon which were sold in a recent auction, we were unaware that an entire library of rarities existed. We will offer this library on September 25th in addition to Part VII of the cinema auctions. There are thousands of items included in the approx. 350 lots of this auction Included are some items from the Buddy McDaniel collection of cinema. Early in the week of June 14th, access our website www.midhudsongalleries.com for a McDaniel history and biography. As has become our tradition, following the conclusion of the internet auction we will offer about 100 lots to those gathered in the room as a thank you to those who come to the auction and participate live. In the past, this has been fun and the buying is great.
