International Design

With the auction on October 13, we put the spotlight on the diversity of International Design. In the feald of US-American design half a dozen designs by Charles and Ray Eames as well as three armchairs by Harry Bertoia will be offered. It is not only the pre-war design that makes collectors' hearts beat faster. Two designs from the 1980s present an exciting, unfortunately often forgotten chapter: the New German Design. In this field we are pleased to offer the striking 'Red comfortable chair' by Eckhart Muthesius from 1931. There are also some rare Japanese furniture pieces present, among others by Shiro Kuramata and Masanori Umeda.
