Featuring a select number of rare pieces including East coast estates items, antiques, Chinese porcelains, ceramics, Jade, paintings, hand-carved wood, snuff bottle, bronze, Buddha, plus other quality consignments. Tenmoku is also pleased to be offering property from the Collection Dr. Silvio Riccio. Dr. Silvio Riccio, earned his doctorate degree in internal medicine from Naples, Italy. He was a survivor of the Italian passenger liner, Andrea Doria, which sank off the coast of Nantucket in the Atlantic Ocean, when he immigrated from Italy in July 1956. He met Evelyn, in New Rochelle, New York and they were married for 50 years. Over a period of 50 years, Dr. Silvio Riccio amassed one of the finest collections of Chinese export porcelain in the country. Starting back in the mid 1960s, they collected Chinese antiques, rose medallion, mandarin, and eventually Chinese export porcelain figures. Bought from the finest dealers in New York, London and fine antique shows, they amassed quite a collection. Even though our father worked nights at two hospitals, he always found time to go out with our mother to look for the next antique treasure to add to their collection. They will always be remembered for their love of Chinese antiques and their fine collection where they were so beautifully displayed in their Nanuet, New York home. .
