History of Baseball McGreevy's Nuf-Ced!

This sale will feature the contents of the Historic McGreevy?s Sports bar from Boston, MA. Back in the early 1900?s this was known as one of the first collections of baseball history better than any museum of its time. After prohibition, McGreevy donated most of the contents to the Boston Library. The bar was reopened in 2008 and the Boston Library gave permission to reprint most of the décor to bring the bar back to its original state. Covid-19 shut down the bar for good. We are honored to sell the contents of this historic bar and give an historic look at baseball over the years. All lots in this auction came from the Historic McGreevy's Sports Bar in Boston Massachusetts. These items were hanging or displayed in the bar until the closure of the bar in 2020. All items in this sale are copies from the original archives from the Boston Public Library unless noted in the description as "original". This is a live broadcast auction with live auctioneers and callers on sale day describing all lots in the sale. This is a local pick up only in Monmouth Junction, NJ with shipping options from the local UPS Store. We handle getting your items to the UPS Store so all you have to do is bid!
