Doyle's auction on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 10am will present Old Master and 19th century paintings and drawings showcasing a wide range of landscapes, still lifes, portraits and religious subjects by European artists from the Renaissance to the 19th century. Featured in the auction are two early equestrian portraits by Louis-Auguste Brun, who would become Court Painter to Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette. Following the Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings, the sale will offer English & Continental Furniture, Silver & Decorative Arts.
