The May 20th Paintings auction at Skinner features over 500 lots of paintings, sculpture, prints and photography, covering a diverse range of American and European artwork from Old Masters to Contemporary artists. Highlights include a rare Robert Spear Dunning Vegetable Still Life from 1858, two N.C Wyeth illustrations, a group of both watercolors and etchings by Frank Benson, European scenes by Carl Spitzweg and Felix Ziem, and contemporary works by Barbara Hepworth and Rafael Canogar.
