Bert Gallery Studio Sales is a specialized American Art auction based in Providence, RI. Bert Gallery, founded in 1985 to showcase and preserve the rich art tradition of the Providence School of artists within the context of American art, is expanding its audience through on-line auctions. The gallery concentrates on significant historic RI and New England artists reflecting major styles and art movements. This curated on-line auction from July 1st- July 14th features works by such notable regional artists such as Charles Walter Stetson, George Whitaker, F. Usher DeVoll, Anna Richards Brewster, Gordon Peers and Antonio Cirino. The auction is curated by gallery owner Catherine Little Bert who has 35 years of experience researching, writing and lecturing on the Providence School artists and the historic art scene of the region as well as mounting over 100 exhibitions for the gallery and other regional art institutions. All works in the auction have been carefully catalogued and researched. We welcome any inquiries.
