SANTA MONICA AUCTIONS presents a Live Public Fine Art Auction of Modern & Contemporary Works in Two Sessions beginning on Saturday, June 18th at 6pm and Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Bergamot Station Arts Center in Santa Monica, CA. The ONLINE BIDDING portion of the sale will ONLY be offered for our Saturday Session Lots.

SANTA MONICA AUCTIONS showcases mid-career and established artists of all mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, multiples and prints. The lot list for this sale is comprised of important works by John Baldessari, Peter Alexander, Sean Cheetham, Guy Dill, James Doolin, Man Ray, Raymond Pettibon, Ed Ruscha, Andy Warhol and many more. Highlights include Richard Avedon's 1969 portrait of Andy Warhol, a large-sized rare print from an edition of 10 printed in 1975. Larry Bell's glass cube from 2007 as well as his rare 1984 Chairs in Space #2 mixed media game table from an edition of 2 will also be auctioned of in this sale as well. In addition, a rare, vintage Nathan Olivera oil on canvas from 1957 will be offered.
