Lifetime Larry Thies automotive collection
Approximately 700 lots. All selling WITHOUT RESERVE!
An unusually rare opportunity like this one seldom comes to market. This auction features one of those opportunities. The late Larry Thies was an "Old School Hot Rodder" and spent a lifetime collecting the tools and equipment of his "trade". Flathead Fords were the lasting love of his life.
If you want classic "Drivers"...those too. Names like Packard, Mercedes and Cobra, all present. Vintage names like Ranchero, ElCamino, even a Deuce Pickup or a Jeep, those too. Also Harley, Vespa or Yamaha! There's certainly something to fit your style!
Now his lifetime accumulation, along with selected other superb pieces, may be one of the largest collections of flathead racing parts and equipment to come to market in your lifetime.
All stored for years: dozens of engines, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, heads, carburetors, signs, body panels, trim pieces, displays, even toys. All the big names. Names like Edelbrock, Fenton, Thomas, Stromberg, Offenhauser, GranCor, Zepher and Ansen! Hundreds of pieces and yes, there?s more. Cars that were bought to rebuild were left unfinished. Completely rebuilt engines and engine building tools and equipment are still here for collectors in need. Seeing is believing. A massive collection!
An incredible opportunity for anyone interested in great cars as well as racing equipment for "Old School" hot rods.
