The Doyle at Home auction on Wednesday, August 3 at 10am (edt) will offer a broad range of property representing a number of prominent collections and estates. The sale showcases an array of quality American, English and Continental furniture, decorations, porcelain, silver, glass, rugs, chandeliers, sconces, prints and fine art with moderate pre-sale estimates. Among the furniture offerings are a Louis XV style upholstered bergere (lot 2159), a set of four Art Deco fruitwood chairs (lot 2441) and a Georgian style inlaid mahogany side table (lot 2305) and an English stumpwork panel top low table (lot 2172). Included in the decorations are a pair of silver plated nine light candelabra (lot 2378), a Limoges porcelain center bowl on gilt stand (lot 2264), and a Georgian style gilt-metal and glass six-ight chandelier (lot 2406, among many other exquisite items.
