Quinn?s Auction Galleries is proud to present, on behalf of the Estate of Marvin Oleshansky, a fine selection of Prints and Works on paper for auction, Tuesday December 20th at 12:00PM EST This sale features a selection of prints, photographs, and art works on paper ranging from the late 19th century, to modern and contemporary pieces. Included are traditional lithographs, etchings, and woodcuts, early European and American graphic design samples, advertisements, fine art posters, photographs, folios, and more. Highlights include a large group of works by WPA artists such as Charles Keller, Will Barnet, Richard Lindsey and many more, as well as multiple early works by Clara Mairs, featuring an early portrait of her longtime companion and fellow artist, Clement Haupers. We are also featuring a number of collectible American WWII era posters showcasing work by artists like Norman Rockwell, and several posters produced during the 1968 Paris Student Protests.
