ANTIQUE SHOW: Sat & Sun, January 28-29. Mesa Convention Center- 263 N Center St. HRS: Sat from 9am - 4:30pm; Sun, 9:30am to 3pm. Admission $10 per day, $15 for weekend pass.
AUCTION: SAT JANUARY 28th -5pm at Phoenix Marriott Mesa (adjacent to Mesa Convention Center - 200 N Centennial Way. Preview available on Thurs from 3pm-7pm, Fri, from 9am to 5pm and Sat from 9am-4:30pm. Bidding is available in person, by phone and absentee and live online through Live Auctioneers.
HIGHLIGHTS: COWBOY category: Historically important and stunning, silver-wrapped threaded saddle Pancho Villa Saddle (est $150,000-250,000), early and stunning Edward H Bohlin saddle made for California land grant Yorba Linda family (est $60,000-90,000). Jesus Tapia silver mounted California bit (est $15,000-20,000), Montie Montana Hollywood Nudie shirt, boots (est $1000-1500), N Porter Saddle from Zane Gray ($3000-4000). NATIVE AMERICAN category: 1870 Arapaho Dress (est $50,000-70,00), Lakota/Sioux Belt Ax (est $7000-9000), Sioux child's 1890 pictorial beaded vest with two horses and elk (est $5000-7000). FINE ART category: Exceptional watercolor by Edward Borein (est $60,000-80,000) will be one of many fine pieces.
